C2C: Country to Country is Europe’s biggest country music festival created by AEG Europe and SJM Concerts in association with the Country Music Association.
Country to Country has become a staple in the UK festival calendar and has brought country music to the UK and Ireland masses, with tens of thousands of fans attending each year. The festival will bring three days of the best in country music and programming that fans have come to love and expect from the weekend, with performances from the world’s best country stars as well as emerging talent from Nashville, UK and Europe.

C2C was first launched in March 2013 at The O2, London as a two day event with Carrie Underwood and Tim McGraw as headliners. This was Tim McGraw’s first UK appearance.
In 2014 C2C launched in Dublin taking place on the same weekend as the London event, with artists switching venues each day.
In 2016 C2C grew into three days and added C2C Glasgow at the Clyde Auditorium. In London, new stages outside of the arena included the Bluebird Café, BBC Radio 2 Country Stage and the Late Night Sounds Like Nashville Stage..
C2C 2018 welcomed over 50,000 fans, who enjoyed music from artists including; Kelsea Ballerini, Sugarland, Emmylou Harris, Margo Price, Old Dominion and more; as well as programming from the Festival Stages, BBC Radio 2 Stage, Late Night Stage, CMA Screenings, The Bluebird Cafe and the newly introduced C2C Close Up.

For a festival that has hosted everyone from The Rolling Stones to Taylor Swift, British Summer Time Hyde Park has rarely felt quite as significant for country music as it did on Saturday night June 27th 2026.
Nearly 30 years after his last UK concert, Garth Brooks returned to Britain to headline BST Hyde Park 2026, becoming the first artist to perform under the festival’s expanded 69,999-capacity configuration. The result was a landmark moment not only for BST Hyde Park but for country music’s continued rise across the UK.
From early afternoon, Hyde Park resembled Nashville-on-Thames. Cowboy hats stretched as far as the eye could see, while fans from across England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and beyond packed into the largest crowd BST Hyde Park has ever accommodated. For longtime country fans, it felt like a celebration years in the making. For newer converts, it was proof that country music has firmly established itself as a major force in the UK live music landscape.
BST’s decision to increase capacity to almost 70,000 could easily have felt overwhelming, but the site handled the larger crowd impressively. Queues moved efficiently, viewing areas remained accessible, and the atmosphere retained the communal feel that has become one of BST Hyde Park’s defining strengths. If there were concerns about scaling up the event, Saturday largely put them to rest.
The line-up itself showcased the genre’s breadth. Zac Brown Band delivered a crowd-pleasing set packed with singalongs, Ashley McBryde brought her trademark blend of grit and swagger, while Alexandra Kay, Jackson Dean, Mae Estes, Leah Blevins, McGrath and Chanel Yates demonstrated why the future of country music looks brighter than ever. Homegrown favourites The Shires received a particularly warm reception, highlighting just how far the UK country scene has come over the past decade.
From honky-tonk roots to stadium-sized singalongs, Brooks’ mix of energetic performances and heartfelt ballads has earned him global acclaim. Classics like “Friends in Low Places,” “The Dance” and “If Tomorrow Never Comes” hold spots in the hearts of fans across generations. But it is the power of his live shows – often described as part rock concert, part country hoedown – that truly sets him apart.
He last graced a London stage nearly two decades ago, and many still talk about the storm he brought to the then-Hammersmith Apollo. I was lucky enough to catch him live in Dublin a few years back—the man entered the stage as if launching a rocket at a rodeo.
