2008 Music Awards
Live from Nashville, Monday April 14, 8/7c
Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus,
will host the 2008 CMT Music Awards.
Additionally, the two will also perform during the awards show airing live on
April 14 from The Curb Event Center at Belmont University in Nashville.
CMT's seventh annual awards show honors country music's elite for the year's
most outstanding music videos and performances and continues to be the genre's
only fan-voted awards. Previously-announced performers include Alan Jackson,
Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Toby Keith.

Thefull
list of presenters has been announced for the 2008 CMT Music Awards, including
Jason Aldean, Jewel, Josh Turner, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, comedian Rodney
Carrington, Sara Evans, Taylor Swift, the Eagles' Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit
and actor Tim Daly (ABC's Private Practice).
Additional presenters include CMT personalities Katie Cook (CMT Insider), Lance
Smith (Top 20 Countdown), along with Bobby Brown, John Rich and Maureen McCormick
(Gone Country), Tom Arnold (My Big Redneck Wedding) and Naomi Judd and Rossi
Morreale (Can You Duet).
Hosted by Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus, the show airs live from Nashville's
Curb Event Center
at Belmont University on April 14 on CMT and CMT.com.
